2014 Speaker Series Event

Every year, the DWRL invites speakers to the UT campus whose work contributes significantly to our understanding of the ways digital technologies are shaping writing and communication practices.

Mark your calendars for Friday, April 11! The DWRL's 2014 Speaker Series will feature Dr. Jody Shipka of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dr. Shipka is the author of Toward a Composition Made Whole, which was published in 2011 as part of the Pittsburgh Series in Composition, Literacy, and Culture. In addition to her talk, Dr. Shipka will offer a workshop on composing material objects.
