classroom procedures

Unlike past years, there will be no immediate in-person support for DWRL classrooms. This means that instructors are responsible for opening and prepping their own classrooms, as well as troubleshooting tech issues.

If your class ends before 4:00 pm, please leave your classroom door propped open in order to prevent congestion in the hallways leading to classrooms.

If your class ends after 4:00 pm, please clean the whiteboards, turn off the projector and the lights, and secure the door.

Door alarms should not be armed. If you open a classroom door and the alarm sounds please contact either Jess Solace or Will Burdette using the contact information below.

classroom support

If you are experiencing issues with your classroom’s technology, please file a support ticket (see below) and a staffer will look into it within 24 hours.

Below you will also find contact information in case of an emergency, but keep in mind that most tech issues less urgent than a near complete tech meltdown will not be considered an emergency and, thus, will not be immediately addressed. DWRL staffers will be given discretion in deciding what constitutes an emergency.

For immediate help with software, classroom computers, and servers, contact Laura Escudero at laura.escudero@utexas.edu.
